Dr. Antoine Ducoin
Dr. Antoine Ducoin is an assistant professor at LHEEA Lab in the research group ”Hydrodynamic, Interfaces and Interactions” (H2I).
He obtained his Ph.D in fluid mechanics at the French Naval Academy Research Institute in 2008 and he was Postdoctoral fellow at University of Michigan and at ENSAM Paris.
His research covers applications such as marine propeller, wind and tidal turbines, with a particular focus on unsteady boundary layer flows (such as laminar to turbulent transition and cavitation) and fluid/flow-structure interaction.
He published 10 journal papers and about 25 conference papers.
He is responsible for the lectures of lifting profiles and fluid structure interaction at Ecole Centrale de Nantes, and also teaches basics of fluid mechanics.
